The Laboratory for Research in Diabetes and Metabolism (LIMED), a member of the
OCRC at Unicamp, Campinas, São Paulo, Brazil, offers a Post-Doctoral fellowship
opportunity in the following project: “Role of peripheral NPY receptors in the regulation
of energy homeostasis in response to physical exercise. Candidates must have
completed their PhD; have extensive knowledge in bioinformatics techniques
(identification and validation of target genes in the regulation of transcripts and
phenotypes, RNA-Seq, Single-cell RNA-Seq), in molecular biology techniques
(genotyping, RT-PCR, Western Blotting), in metabolomics and proteomics analyses,
experience in experiments to assess energy homeostasis in vivo (GTT, ITT, indirect
calorimetry) and in exercise protocols in mice. The project will be conducted under the
supervision of Prof. Dr. Bruno Geloneze Neto and will last for 12 months, starting in
