Tissue Culture Facility Manager

We seek to appoint a Tissue Culture Facility Manager to provide support for research into the structure and mechanism of protein complexes and membrane proteins. The post holder will have responsibility for the smooth and efficient running of the mammalian and insect cell tissue culture facilities. There will also be the opportunity to collaborate with LMB scientists to establish and develop new, cutting-edge protein expression methods.

http://www2.mrc-lmb.cam.ac.uk The successful applicant will hold at least a MSc in a biological subject, or equivalent work experience with a BSc in a biological subject. Experience working within a laboratory environment and experience with mammalian and/or insect cell tissue culture techniques is essential. Experience with protein expression and purification would be desirable.
The post is available from 1st January 2024. The starting salary will be set within £37,500 to £41,869.
