Study to Improve Public Hearing Health Policies in Brazil



    The Department of Otorhinolaryngology at the Medical School of the University of São Paulo (FMUSP) is offering a post-doctoral scholarship (open to Brazilians and foreigners living in Brazil) for candidates with PhD degree dating less than 7-year with primary degree in electrical, electronic or production engineering with experience and proved skills:

    - development of hearing aids;

    - development of hearing aid fitting software;

    - developing good manufacturing practice routines (GMP/ TQM);

    - development of key performance indicators in the administrative and operational routines of a public tertiary hospital;

    - working in a multi-departmental team;

    - writing, drafting and reviewing scientific papers;

    - preparing accountability reports.

    He/she will conduct research activities with otologists, audiologists and administrators inside the FMUSP environment.

    Send an updated CV and Lattes with two letters of recommendation from affiliated researchers in related areas to by June 1, 2024, pointing “Candidato PD 2024” at the subject island. The effective researcher will grant a FAPESP Post-Doctoral Scholarship of R$ 9,047.40/mount (total 16-month) and a Technical Reserve equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the scholarship to cover unforeseen expenses directly related to the research activity.
