The post-doctoral candidate for the development of the Thematic Project titled “Development of Ceramic Scaffolds for Application in Tissue Engineering” hosted by the University of São Paulo's School of Animal Science and Food Engineering (FZEA-USP) in Pirassununga, São Paulo state, Brazil, should have experience in the interface between materials science or related fields.
The desired skills for the fellowship candidate include: (1) production techniques for polymer matrices based on natural polymers and rheology of polymer solutions; (2) determination of the release kinetics of natural and synthetic compounds, experience in methods for quantifying natural and/or synthetic compounds related to release kinetics; (3) techniques for coating scaffolds (immersion, deep coating, sprinkling, others) (4) characterization of scaffolds; (5) knowledge of modeling using software such as Origin, Excel, Statistica, MATLAB, others.
Candidates must hold a doctoral degree obtained no more than seven years ago, either domestically or internationally, preferably in the field of materials Science or related fields. Interested individuals should send an email to

This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality.
