We are seeking a highly motivated Post-doctoral Fellow to join our research team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in the field of translational immunology. Our goal is to unravel the molecular and cellular mechanisms driving hyperactivated function of CD4+ T cells and autoimmune-associated B cells (ABCs) in SLE patients. We will leverage cutting-edge technologies, mouse model of lupus and patient-derived specimens to drive scientific advancement in the field of autoimmunity.
Duties:
- Conduct independent research under the guidance of the Principal Investigator
- Design and execute experiments using a variety of techniques such as animal work, in vitro co-culture, ELISA and flow cytometry.
- Analyze and interpret experimental data
- Prepare and present research findings at scientific conferences and in peer-reviewed journals
- Collaborate with team members on research projects
- Assist in grant writing and project management
Skills:
- Experience with transfection, protein purification, and mammalian cell culture techniques
- Knowledge of molecular biology techniques such as flow cytometry and microscopy
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and ethical guidelines for research involving human subjects
