Xubin Zheng is an Assistant Professor at the School of Computing and Information Technology, Greater Bay Area University. He received his Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Science at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and his Master's and Bachelor's degrees from the University of Hong Kong and Zhejiang University, respectively. Currently, his research focus is on the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and BioMedicine, with specific areas of interest including: integration of multi-modal and multi-scale omics data, spatial omics, and disease diagnosis based on deep learning and machine learning techniques.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join a dynamic and motivated team investigating the use of innovative AI techniques to better understand and develop novel therapeutics for treating immune diseases including cancer.
Post Doc Level B Salary Scale: 400,000-450,000 RMB per annum .
Post Doc Level A Salary Scale: >600,000 RMB per annum.
Requirement:
1. Obtained a Ph.D. in bioinformatics-related disciplines such as computer science, biology, etc., be under 35 years old, and have received the doctoral degree no more than three years ago.
2. Have published research papers in the field of expertise and demonstrate the ability to conduct independent scientific research.
3. Uphold good academic integrity and professional ethics, possess strong communication skills and a spirit of teamwork, be diligent and honest, and have an ambitious drive for self-improvement.
