Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Post-doctoral Research Fellow Level 1 in Microbiology within UCD School of Chemical & Bioprocess Engineering.
This postdoctoral position will play an important role in a new European Research Council (ERC) funded project, This project is based in the UCD School of Chemical and Bioprocess Engineering. The post-doc will join a dynamic multi-disciplinary research team and is expected to have expertise in applied microbiology . The successful candidate will undertake assessment of the antimicrobial and anti-biofilm effect of novel formulations.
This is a research focused role, where you will conduct a specified programme of research supported by research training and development under the supervision and direction of a Principal Investigator.
The primary purpose of the role is to further develop your research skills and competences, including the processes of publication in peer-reviewed academic publications, the development of funding proposals, the mentorship of graduate students along with the opportunity to develop your skills in research led teaching.
Salary: PD1 €44,347 per annum
