Applications are invited for a Temporary (until 31st Dec 2025) post of a Post-doctoral Research Fellow Level 2 within UCD School of Chemical and Bioprocess Engineering.
This postdoctoral position will play an important role in a new project funded by Enterprise Ireland and an industry partner, entitled “ Biofilm Disinfection Strategies for Drains”. This is a role for a microbiologist based in the UCD School of Chemical and Bioprocess Engineering.
This research project is focused on addressing the critical issue of biofilm formation in drains, which has become a significant concern in healthcare and food processing industries. The project will deliver new insights into the removal and disinfection of drain biofilms.
Post Doc Level 2 Salary Scale: €52,193 - € 55,188 per annum per annum.
Appointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
