About the award
Inflection is a unique, fully-funded awards program aimed at finding 30 outstanding PhD students (or recent graduates) from around the world!

We are doing this because we know that 50% of the solutions needed to address the climate crisis either haven’t been discovered or haven’t yet been commercialized. The future of research and innovation will be driven by young scientists of today - PhD Students and PostDocs alike. We want to ensure that early-career scientists have the support and resources they need to maximize their impact.
Location: Paris, France
Level/Field of study: PhD student (and recent graduate) in any field, working on sustainability, renewables, adaptation, carbon removal, and climate change.
Number of scholarships: 30

About you
Inflection is designed to identify and accelerate the opportunities for young scientists whose research and skills could have a massive climate impact.
To apply, you need to meet all of the following criteria:
- Currently pursuing a PhD or graduated with a PhD within the last 12 months.
- 30 years old or younger at the time of application.
- Conducting research with climate-relevant impact, in any field of study **(not limited to climate science; we encourage applicants from a wide range of disciplines, from engineering, biology, chemistry, geology and beyond)**
- Motivated by an urgent desire to maximize your impact on the climate crisis.
- Able to be in Paris for on 10th and 11th March 2025 (we cover expenses!)
